Description

The XLC Chain Tensioner CR-A04 is a black aluminium 16-20 tooth tensioner suitable for hanger mounting and designed specifically with single-speed hubs in mind, so it will run well on any style of singlespeed bike. This variant has a higher tensioning capacity.A chain tensioner prevents the rear wheel from sliding forward and so reduces the tension of the chain. This item maintains the correct chain tension at all times and the chain line on the XLC Chain Tensioner CR-A04 can be individually adjusted. It has a C-C of 68mm. The XLC Chain Tensioner CR-A03 is not suitable for use on bikes which have coaster brakes because both mechanisms are mounted in the same area.
