If you’re plagued with back pain or would prefer to be more upright on your bike, then the XLC A-Head stem extender Easy up & Down ST-L02 is for you. The idea behind this stem is it allows the rider to adjust the height of their handlebars by up to 70mm, quickly and easily, without any need for tools. The minimum steerer length needed in order to attach the stem extender is 150mm, and it is only suitable for steel steerer shafts. Most commonly, these would be found on city, touring or commuter bikes and are a great way to add a little extra comfort to your riding position and give the rider a nice upright riding position.
