Description
Designed specifically for single-speed hubs, the XLC Chain Tensioner CR-A03 is a black aluminium 16-20 tooth component suitable for hanger mounting – perfect for any style of single speed bike.A chain tensioner prevents the rear wheel from sliding forward and so reduces the chain’s tension, making sure it stays that way. The XLC Chain Tensioner CR-A03 has a chain line of 32mm (6-38mm) and a C-C of 68mm. The XLC Chain Tensioner CR-A03 is not suitable for use on bikes that have coaster brakes – the pedal back brakes usually found on children’s bikes or European town bicycles – as both mechanisms are mounted in the same area.
