Let’s assume you want to jump right in and take your kids for a bike ride in your new XLC Kids Trailer MONO S or DUO S. You first will have to attach it to your bike, of course. For easy installation, please have a look at our informative video tutorial below.

  1. Before you attach the XLC Kids Trailer MONO S or DUO S to your bike, make sure the hitch arm is safely secured to the underside of your Kids Trailer. We don’t want you to lose your precious cargo on the way!

  2. Make sure the spring pin is locked in place, and the quick-release pin is fully inserted into its socket.

  3. The hitch needs to be attached to the left side of your bike’s rear axle. To make mounting easier, slightly tilt your bike to the side.

  4. Slide the hitch arm over the hitch, then insert the quick-release pin. Again, make sure it is fully inserted into its socket.

  5. As a last step, take the safety strap and wrap it around your bike’s frame. The Kids Trailer is safely secured once you fastened it to the hitch arm.

These four easy steps will ensure that your XLC Kids Trailer MONO S or DUO S is safely secured to your bike. If you follow the instructions, you and your kids will be ready to make new memories in no time.
