It works by pressing a chain pin out to disconnect the chain and then driving in a new connecting pin to put it back together. The XLC Chain Rivet Remover TO-S28 has a sleek design with a comfortable ergonomic rubber handle and is fully adjustable to the size of your chain. This tool is only compatible with Shimano chains that are 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 speed.
